Deadline to Request Vote-by-Mail Ballots

Pasco County, FL – Brian E. Corley, Supervisor of Elections, Pasco County, announces the last day for the elections’ office to mail vote-by-mail ballots is Saturday, October 29th.  Ballot requests received in the supervisor’s office by 5:00 p.m. on that day will be honored. Request a ballot on-line at PascoVotes.gov or call 800-851-8754.

Ballots will be available for pick-up over the counter at the three supervisor’s offices until 5:00 p.m. Monday, November 7th.  Voters may pick up ballots for someone else beginning nine days prior to election day, Sunday, October 30th.  Voters wishing to pick up ballots on behalf of someone will need a written request from the voter designating them as the person authorized to carry out the ballot.  The designee will be asked to provide photo identification and complete an affidavit before the ballot will be released.

Florida Statutes does not allow for vote-by-mail ballots to be picked up in the supervisor’s office on the day of the election unless an emergency precludes the voter from going to their assigned polling place. An affidavit affirming the facts of the emergency will be required.

All voted ballots must be physically in the elections’ office by 7:00 p.m. Election Day, Tuesday, November 8th, including ballots being delivered by the United States Postal Service.  Ballot drop-off will be available at all 12 Early Voting Sites during the Early Voting period October 26th – November 5th and voted ballots may be hand delivered to any of the three Supervisor of Elections’ Offices in Pasco County by the 7:00 p.m. Election Day deadline.  Voted ballots may not be turned in at the polls on Election Day. Visit PascoVotes.gov for Early Voting and office locations.  Voters can check the status of their vote-by-mail ballot at https://pascovotes.ballottrax.net/voter/.
