Nearly 50,000 Vote-By-Mail Ballot Requests To Be Fulfilled

Pasco County FL - Supervisor of Elections Brian E. Corley announced that
vote-by-mail ballots are now available upon request by calling the
elections' office, 800-851-8754, by submitting the request in writing or by
using the on-line request form on www.pascovotes.com.  Tuesday, July 26,
2016, the office will mail nearly 50,000 ballots to voters with requests
already on file.

"Voting by mail continues to increase in popularity because voters like the
convenience of voting at their leisure in the privacy of their home," said
Supervisor Corley. "In an effort to avoid long lines at the polls, we are
actively encouraging vote-by-mail as a way of distributing the voting
population among the three available options which includes early voting and
election day voting."

Vote-by-mail ballots cannot be forwarded but can be mailed to a temporary
mailing address if outside of Pasco County. Requests of this type must be in
writing and include the voter's signature.  All other written requests must
include the voter's date of birth, signature, and Pasco County residence
address.  Voters are encouraged to confirm their mailing address when
ordering a vote-by-mail ballot.  Requests are fulfilled immediately, with
ballots being mailed daily.  The deadline to request a ballot to be mailed
is Wednesday, August 24, 2016.

Voted ballots must be returned to the elections' office by 7:00 p.m.
election day, August 30, 2016.  Due to postal service regulations, it will
require 47 cents postage to return the ballot by mail, and voters should allow up
to five business days. Voters can check the status of their vote-by-mail
ballot Voted ballots may also be hand delivered to any of the three
Supervisor of Elections' Offices in Pasco County.  Voted ballots may not be
turned in at the polls on election day.
