The Supervisor of Elections' office is responsible for:
VOTER REGISTRATION
- Register voters and maintain voter registration records
- Issue Voter Information Cards
- Provide current and historical voter registration statistics
ELECTION ADMINISTRATION
- Administer all elections in Pasco County
- Qualify and provide support for Local Candidates
- Receive Local Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Reports
- Accept Local Financial Disclosure Filings
- Provide Local Candidate Information to the public
- Accept and Process Vote by Mail requests
- Receive, verify, and canvass vote by mail ballots
- Provide sample ballots for all elections
- Maintain an archive of election results going back to 1982
- Maintain precinct and district boundaries, including a precinct-specific street index
- Maintain convenient and accessible polling places for early voting and election day
- Recruit and train election workers for early voting and election day
- Verify petition signatures for initiative and candidate qualifying petitions
- Manage and secure voting equipment
VOTER EDUCATION AND OUTREACH
- Conduct voter registration drives
- Conduct educational programs for organizations and all public schools
