Voter Turnout Posted on Website

Pasco County FL -Brian E. Corley, Supervisor of Elections, announced that unofficial voter turnout for the November 8, 2016, General Election will be posted on the elections' office website, pascovotes.com. The voter turnout numbers will represent those who have returned their vote-by-mail ballot, and beginning October 29th, will include those who have voted early.

"A lot of eyes are watching Pasco, the bellwether county of Florida," said Supervisor Corley.  "Transparency with elections has been, and will continue to be, of great importance in Pasco County.  Posting voter turnout is an extension of our commitment to openness in the process."

Voter turnout will be reported daily for vote-by-mail ballots and every ten minutes during Early Voting and on General Election Day.  After closing the polls at 7:00 p.m., unofficial election results will be posted as they become available.

The elections' office has already mailed over 60,000 vote-by-mail ballots with new requests being processed daily.  To request a vote-by-mail ballot, call the office at 800-851-8754, or visit pascovotes.com.

The early voting period, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at eight locations throughout the county, will begin October 29, 2016 and end November 5, 2016.  Early locations and wait times can be found at pascovotes.com.
