Deadline to Register to Vote or Change Your Party for the Presidential Preference Primary

Pasco County FL - Brian E. Corley, Supervisor of Elections, announces the Tuesday, February 18, 2020 deadline to register to vote or change your party affiliation for the March 17, 2020 Presidential Preference Primary (PPP).

All three elections' offices will be open weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with extended hours on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Tuesday, February 18, 2020 until 7:00 p.m. at the following locations: East Pasco Government Center, 14236 6th St, Suite 200, Dade City, West Pasco Government Center, 8731 Citizens Dr., Suite 110, New Port Richey, Central Pasco Professional Center, 4111 Land O' Lakes Blvd., Room 105, Land O' Lakes.

It is important to note that Florida is a closed primary state which means the candidate choices on your ballot will be those that are the same party affiliation as your voter registration.  Party changes are permissible, but must be made by the book closing date, February 18, 2020, and may be on a voter registration application or a signed hand-written note that contains your date of birth or voter information number.

Voter registration applications or party change requests that are mailed to the supervisor's office at PO Box 300, Dade City FL 33526, should be postmarked February 18th or earlier, or brought directly to one of the three Supervisor of Elections' Offices.

Voters are encouraged to ensure their voter registration is up-to-date, and if voting by mail, that a current signature is on file.    Visit PascoVotes.gov to view a sample ballot, check your registration status, to request a vote-by-mail ballot, to access a voter registration application, for information on how to update your signature, report an address change, or for early voting times, dates, locations and wait times.
