Voter Registration Books Close
For the Presidential Preference Primary

Pasco County FL - Supervisor of Elections Brian E. Corley announced the
voter registration books for the March 15, 2016 Presidential Preference
Primary (PPP) will close on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, for all new
registrants to the State of Florida and to anyone wishing to change their
party. All three elections' offices will be open weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 5:00
p.m., with extended hours on Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to
1:00 p.m. at the following locations: East Pasco Government Center, 14236
6th St, Suite 200, Dade City, West Pasco Government Center, 8731 Citizens
Dr., Suite 110, New Port Richey, Central Pasco Professional Center, 4111
Land O' Lakes Blvd., Room 105, Land O' Lakes.

It is important to note that Florida is a closed primary state and as such,
the only candidates on your ballot will be those that are the same party
affiliation as your voter registration.  Party changes are permissible, but
must be made by the book closing date, February 16, 2016, and may be on a
voter registration application or a signed hand-written note that contains
your date of birth.

Voter registration applications or party change requests that are mailed to
the supervisor's office at PO Box 300, Dade City FL 33526, should bear a
postmark of February 16th or earlier, or brought directly to one of the
three Supervisor of Elections' Offices.

Voters are encouraged to insure that their voter registration is up-to-date,
and if voting by mail, that a current signature is on file.    Visit
pascovotes.com to view a sample ballot, check your registration status, to
request a vote-by-mail ballot, to access a voter registration application,
for information on how to update your signature, report an address change,
or for early voting times, dates and locations.
